Villa Gemma
A perfect holiday with our two teenage kids. The villa is spacious and fully air conditioned, and the kids were delighted to have their own rooms with attached bathroom. The weather was gloriously hot so we spent the week in the pool or at the beach. Within a few minutes' walk you can reach a number of beaches ranging from busy with full amenities (bars, cafes) to quiet spots where you can see fish swimming in the clear water. You can also hire pedalos, SUPs, kayaks, jet skis, etc. There are many restaurants to choose from, specialising in pizzas, pasta, grilled fish and meat, and even though it was peak season we didn't need to book. The shop at the top of the road sells everything you need and includes a bakery so you can get fresh croissants and delicious watermelon. An excellent place to stay, highly recommended!

Friendly host, lots of good local recommendations. Popped in a few times diring our stay to water the garden and was always happy to give nore recommendation for the local area. Wouldnt hesitate to book again.

Mlini is lovely with plenty to do - restaurants, the sea (and activities) and a great beach bars. Excellent location. Paolo’s villa is well kitted out and only a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again.

Wow! What can I say? First of all, Drago (Paco's son) was an exemplary host! I'm often wary of booking places directly via the likes of agency, but this villa in the heart of the Mlini/Srebreno area is s complete gem of a find. Our holiday choice this year was a bit of a 'pin in the map' decision but we are do glad that we landed upon Pavo's/Drago's villa. It's everything that you could wish for... Spacious, homely and a superb base for exploring such a wonderful area of Croatia.
If you're thinking twice about booking this accommodation then do yourself a favour and go for it...! You won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back :)

My family and I enjoyed a stay in Villa Gemma for a week in early September. The location was ideal with beaches, restaurants and supermarkets in easy walking distance. The villa is spacious, well furnished and private. Our hosts provided clear instructions and were keen to help out in anyway they could. The bus stop for the regular no 10 bus to Dubrovnik was a short walk away making it a good alternative to trying to find parking near Old Town.

We had an amazing time in Mlini, it's a beautiful resort, and the house was really close to the beach and restaurants. Pavo was very helpful and we will definitely visit the area again.

We had a great time, the Villa is fantastic, in an amazing location. Everything needed is in the villa, and there are restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. Mlini is such a pretty place, you could easily spend a week there, but it's also a great base to explore the area. We went to Kotor in Montenegro, Dubrovnik, and Bosnia. Will be returning at a different time of year. Thanks for allowing us to stay at your villa

We had a lovely stay here in this well equipped and spotlessly clean home. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, arranging a minivan transfer from the airport for us at short notice when our own transfer was cancelled. The weather was hot for most of our stay and we were glad to have the aircon and pool. We also appreciated the various seating areas in the well-tended garden. As others have noted, Villa Gemma is very well located just a short walking distance from local beaches, restaurants and ferries. There’s a small grocery store a few minutes walk away and a large supermarket about ten minutes walk via the main road (this can also be reached more scenically by a few minutes extra walk via the beach promenade at Srebreno).

A deeply appreciated port in a storm that turned out to be a miracle find. Pavo and family were fantastic and thoughtful hosts. The pool with the electrolysis treated water was fantastic...fresh and clean. Being able to sit on the terraces and see the sea just below in the bay was a bonus. Perfect location for short walks to the beaches and cafes of Mlini. Very spacious with great showers and air-con and lots of spaces for family to relax. We even watched a movie one evening we hadn't anticipated. Huge fridge and freezer made life very easy and large supermarket 10-15 min walk and local store only a couple. Fantastic stay and we would love to come again. Thank you

Pavo's villa is amazing. The location is fantastic, a quiet street 3 minutes walk through lovely pine forest to several beautiful little beaches. One with shallow water suitable for young kids and another deeper, for swimming. The villa is spacious and has everything you need and there are multiple areas to sit out in sun or shade and a lovely pool. The garden is gorgeous. There is good and quiet aircon in most of the rooms.
The area is lovely and very unspoilt .You can get water taxis to various islands , Dubrovnik and Cavtat and can hire kayaks , paddleboards etc. The area is fairly quiet which we liked but there are at least half a dozen restaurants to choose from in Mlini/ Srebreno. There is a small shop a minute from the house and a bigger mall ten minutes walk away with supermarket , department stores, pharmacy etc. If you are staying for a week and are happy to stay by the coast and islands I'd say you don't need a car. Water taxi is a much nicer way to travel.
I'd highly recommend this villa and area for a holiday.

Villa Gemma
We were a family party of four adults and four children. Villa Gemma was ideal for a large group and we had a very pleasant stay. The children loved the pool and there were several beaches to choose from nearby within walking distance. The immediate area was quiet and uncrowded. To the south was the village of Mlini and to the north Srebreno bay with the new Sheraton and a nice shopping center with a large supermarket. A convenience store just across the highway was well-stocked. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from. We rented kayaks and pedal boats at Srebreno. No need for a car. Pavo arranged a transfer from the airport and advised us to use Uber to get to and from Dubrovnik which worked very well. He and Gemma met us at the villa and gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful. The villa is well-kept and has everything needed. Especially nice was the beautiful garden and the excellent air conditioning. The separate pavilion with a ping pong table was a bonus.

We stayed in Pavo's beautiful home with 4 adults and 4 children. There are plenty of rooms and everything you need is provided. It was easy to buy and cook all our meals in his home as everything you need was there. The pool is perfect for an evening swim and just a stone throws away, there are plenty of beautiful beaches. And within 5mins you can eat out at the small number of restaurants nearby! Pavo, if I could buy your home, I would! Thank you!
